What this beta collects, and why

Fourth & Fate is a football coaching game one person is building. This beta is run by that person from their own computer; nothing here is a company, and nothing is sold.

What we keep about you: your name and email (so we know who you are and can send you a new link), your password (stored scrambled, so no one can read it), the kind of browser you launch the game from (to find problems on some phones), and everything you type into the questions.

What the game sends: when you launch it from this site, the game sends the records it already keeps about your games: the plays called, the results, how long decisions took, and which screens you opened. They do not contain your name, your email, or anything from outside the game. If you open the game any other way, it sends nothing.

Who sees it: only the person running the beta. Your answers may be quoted in the project's design notes without your name.

How long: until the beta ends, and deleted within 90 days after that. Ask at any time and your account and everything it sent will be deleted.

Your games: they are saved in your own browser, as any game's are. Deleting your account does not touch them; clearing this site's data in your browser does.
